Passage: Romans 6:1-11, Matthew 10:24-31
Dear Friends:  Late June is giving us such a lovely spell of weather - hot and sunny and low humidity (so far).  There is such a sense of reprieve and relief in the community.  Paulette and I stopped by RHRR to drop off the worship scripts on Thursday (18th).  There was such a festive air at the residence that we could hardly navigate around the parking lot as families checked in with loved ones.  Such joy as families got together.  I imagine the joy when we gather again in September.  In the meantime I have been calling through my church list - which is organized in order of Christian names.  As Duncan cannot talk for 5 minutes this has been a slow process (I'm somewhere in the middle of the "M's").  So you N-Z's will be hearing from me.  But I want you all to know that I would love to hear from you anytime at the numbers below.  Thank God our family are all well - and I got an all clear for three years from my surgeon last week.  Thank-you for your constant prayers through the last two years.
We haven't been able to gather as a community since March. That got me thinking about my retirement plans. I informed Session that I would be pushing my retirement date back to March 1st, 2022.  That should give us a complete year together - all being well - to enjoy each other and all the special times during the Church year.  Please enjoy the attached worship script - and remember - if you plan to listen/watch this week's audio/visual broadcast don't peep or you'll have a bad case of deja vu!  Happy Father's Day.
Peace be with you, Duncan
Duncan James Jeffrey
