Renowned public speaker and musician Dr. Mike Daley presents The Simon and Garfunkel Story with Jill Daley (violin/piano) and Will Reid (vocals). Mike is known across the GTA for his highly entertaining and informative talks on popular music history, richly illustrated with images and lyrics. You’ll learn about how Simon and Garfunkel got together, the key to their unique harmony blend, their fascinating recording history and their musical legacy today. The trio will perform several of Simon and Garfunkel’s most beloved songs live, including “The Sound of Silence,” “Mrs. Robinson,” and “Bridge Over Troubled Water.”
Accomplished on both piano and violin, Jill Daley is a full-time musician at Canada’s National Ballet School. Will Reid is a respected singer and educator with a long list of credits including the Nathaniel Dett Chorale and the Elmer Iseler Singers.
General admission tickets are $28.00 plus HST and fees. Tickets may be available at the door; $40.00, cash only.
