Valentine Pancake Breakfast

RHPC’s Youth Group invites you to support our annual toy drive. It’s a great opportunity to help families in Richmond Hill who cannot afford presents at Christmas.

Toys (big box in Narthex) and financial donations are gratefully accepted until Sunday, December 4.

Cheques should be made out to RHPC indicating “Toy Drive”.

This is a wonderful opportunity to focus on the true meaning of Christmas as we honour the memory of this caring young man, friend, and former RHPC Youth Group member.

The Presbyterian Church in Canada, Presbytery of Oak Ridges Service of Ordination and Induction of Robert Hayashi into pastoral charge of Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church will be held on Sunday, October 2, 2022 at 4:00pm.

Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II’s remarkable reign was marked by an extraordinary commitment to service. She gave clear public expressions of her deep personal Christian faith and the hope of the Gospel.
The following prayer has been prepared by the Presbyterian Church in Canada:

Eternal God, before you all generations rise up and fall away, and in your grace, you provide leaders to serve and comfort us with wisdom and dedication. We give thanks for the life, Christian witness and service of Queen Elizabeth, whose earthly life is now ended and who has entered into the joy and peace you have prepared through Jesus Christ. We pray for her family and those who will take up her duties and responsibilities. Send your Holy Spirit to comfort and give peace to all who mourn her death and the death of any loved one.

Services on the following 2022 dates will be led by:

July 10 – Rev. Dr. Victor Shepherd
July 17 – Henna Kim

Good news!  We will be holding a summer day camp this year from August 8 through 12. However, we reserve the right to cancel camp if anything arises before then that we feel affects our ability to hold a safe camp for everyone.

This year’s theme is “Food Truck Party: On a Roll with God!.

We invite children of all ages to get on a roll with God as a parade of food trucks rolls into our neighbourhood for the summer’s biggest party!

Our guiding theme is “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matthew 6:11)

These words serve as a reminder that everything we have comes from God – and our daily needs are met by God.

Camp is from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for campers ages 4 – 12.

Drop off time is 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. Pick up time is 4:00 – 5:00 p.m.

We still have family pricing:

  • First camper is $125 for the week
  • Second camper is $100 for the week
  • Third or more camper is $75 for the week

Campers will bring their own lunch but we will supply their morning and afternoon snacks.

Slide show: 13.5 Years of Ministry at Richmond Hill Presbyterian Church (R.H.P.C.)

On Sunday, October 3, 2021 RHPC thanked Don and Lucille Glenn for 31 years of dedicated and loyal service as our church custodians. We sincerely appreciate all their hard work over the years. They are members of our congregation and we know that we will still see them often.
